Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern access to and use of Engrane during the pilot phase.
1. Scope & beta status
Engrane is in a pilot/beta phase. Access is invitation-based; a coach application does not create an account and does not guarantee access.
Features, scope, and these terms may change at any time before public launch.
2. Access & accounts
Sign-in is passwordless via a one-time code sent to the stored email address.
Users keep access codes and sessions confidential and report unauthorized use immediately to hello@engrane.de.
3. Content & responsibility
Coaches remain responsible for all approved content. AI-generated drafts (summaries, player versions, training notes) are drafts and may only be shared with players after human review.
Audio and image recordings of lessons may only be created and processed with the explicit permission of the people involved.
4. Use restrictions
Engrane must not be used for medical, legal, safety-critical, or performance-diagnostic decisions.
Prohibited: unlawful or third-party content without rights, abuse, disruption of the service, unauthorized access, and reverse engineering.
5. Privacy
The processing of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy.
6. Liability
The pilot is provided without assurance of uninterrupted availability.
We are fully liable for intent and gross negligence and in accordance with statutory provisions. For slight negligence we are liable only for breach of essential contractual obligations, limited to foreseeable, contract-typical damage.
Training and performance decisions remain the responsibility of coach and player.
7. Term & termination
Users may stop using the service at any time. We may restrict or terminate access in case of misuse, security risk, or closure of the pilot.
8. Final provisions
German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Where permissible, the place of jurisdiction is Berlin.
Should individual provisions be invalid, the remaining provisions remain effective; a provision closest to the intended purpose takes their place.
